Throughout this document, references to "the app" refer to HODL Time across all available Apple platforms.

Data Collection and Usage

• HODL Time does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to or from external servers.
• We do not require account creation, login, or any identifying information to use the app.
• We do not use any analytics, advertising SDKs, or behavioral tracking tools.

Local Storage

• All app preferences (like currency selection, portfolio holdings, theme settings, and price lock settings) are stored locally on your device using Apple's App Groups framework.
• This data is never sent to external servers or shared with third parties.
• Your price viewing history is also stored locally and is not shared.

Cross-Device Data Synchronization

• When using both iPhone and Apple Watch, certain data synchronizes between devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.
• This synchronization includes user preferences, portfolio settings, lock states, and price viewing history.
• All synchronized data remains within Apple's secure ecosystem and is not accessible to external parties.

External Services

• Price data is retrieved using the Binance public API.
• While we do not send user data to Binance, your device may interact with their servers to retrieve market data.
• Please refer to Binance's privacy policy for more details about their data handling.
• Exchange rates are fetched from the Frankfurter API for currency conversion.
• The app utilizes Apple's App Groups and WatchConnectivity frameworks for cross-device functionality.

Notifications

• If enabled, notifications are used solely to inform you when your price viewing lock ends.
• Notification permissions are requested only when you choose to enable them.
• You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings of the iPhone HODL Time app.

Your Rights

• You have complete control over your data as it's stored locally on your device.
• You can delete the app at any time to remove all stored data.

Changes to Privacy Policy

• We may update this privacy policy periodically.
• Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
