HODL Time is a behavioral utility app intended to help users reduce compulsive Bitcoin price checking. It is not a brokerage product, exchange, wallet, portfolio manager of record, or financial advisory service.
Bitcoin price information, percentage changes, exchange-rate conversions, and historical references shown in the app are provided for informational purposes only. Market data is sourced from third-party providers including Binance, Frankfurter, and Open Exchange Rates. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, availability, or suitability of any market data displayed in the app.
Nothing in HODL Time constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold Bitcoin or any other asset. You remain solely responsible for your own financial decisions.
HODL ranks, milestones, lock timers, quotes, history, free early unlocks, and paid early unlocks are motivational and utility features only. They are not financial advice, investment advice, behavioral health advice, or guarantees of any market outcome.
Free early unlocks and paid early unlocks are app features for ending a lock early. Paid early unlocks are optional consumable in-app purchases on iPhone and iPad. Early unlock credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, cannot be exchanged for money or cryptocurrency, and can only be used inside HODL Time. iPhone and iPad early unlock balances are separate and do not transfer between those devices. Used consumables cannot be restored by Apple, and "Restore Purchases" is limited to unfinished transactions that Apple still makes available for delivery.
If you enter portfolio holdings, that information is used for local display only. HODL Time does not verify ownership, custody, transactions, balances, tax lots, cost basis, gains, losses, or wallet activity.
HODL Time may display or synchronize locally stored state across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, widgets, and other supported Apple surfaces. Some app state, including early unlock balances, may be device-specific and may not synchronize across all supported devices. We do not guarantee that these surfaces will always update immediately, remain perfectly synchronized, or stay available without interruption. Device connectivity, Apple system services, and third-party data providers can affect behavior.
If enabled, notifications used by HODL Time are local notifications for lock-end reminders and milestone reminders. Notification delivery timing can depend on Apple system behavior and device state.
All data stored by HODL Time is intended to remain on-device or within Apple's platform frameworks used for local sharing and sync. We do not operate an external account system for this app, and we do not guarantee recovery of local state if a device is reset, removed, or restored outside Apple's supported mechanisms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for losses or damages arising from use of the app, reliance on market data shown in the app, interrupted purchases, sync delays, stale widget or watch state, notification timing, or third-party service outages.
These disclaimers are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from the use of this app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
